PHLEGM v9 r53 — ActRaiser first-divergence diagnostics
Based on r52 Full Archive Set 2026-1017-1643-4144, with 4096-instruction
first bank-entry capture, selected CPU I/O history, and sampled profiling.
No user-supplied ROM or firmware is packaged in this archive.

One-command reproduction:
  MACRO EXEC diagnostics/ActRaiser-First-Bank50-r53
This loads SNES-NTSC and the user's ActRaiser file at
  data/cart/Super Nintendo/Actraiser/actraisr.sfc
then disables full COREDUMP TRACE and arms a watch for CPU fetch in bank 50.
At the first such fetch the emulator halts and saves:
  logs/forensics/SNES-r53-Bank-50-*.forensic.txt
  logs/coredumps/SNES-r53-Bank-50-*.coredump.phlegm
The forensic report has the previous 4096 instruction addresses, opcodes,
pre-instruction register sets, actual next PC and cycle/frame positions.
It also retains selected CPU-originated port writes and changed read values
($2140..$2143, $2100, $2105, $420B, $420C). APU polling totals are recorded.
DMA/HDMA can bypass the CPU bus hook; the r52 full tracer complements it.

The first bank-50 fetch is a diagnostic marker, NOT proof of an invalid
instruction. Compare the predecessor and ROM/WRAM mapping before fixing CPU.

Commands:
COREDUMP FORENSIC ARM 50 (hexadecimal bank; default 50)
  COREDUMP FORENSIC STATUS
  COREDUMP FORENSIC OFF

Performance-only sampling, full trace and forensic watch both OFF:
  MACRO EXEC diagnostics/ActRaiser-Profile-r53
  COREDUMP PROFILE REPORT
  COREDUMP PROFILE OFF
Samples one in 256 CPU VmStep calls and estimates breakdown of decode,
microcode, device-clock advancement, and other in-step work. Does NOT
measure rendering/presentation or all frame overhead. Disabled by default.

Verification: static source-level and POSIX shell tests, ZIP extraction and
SHA256/SHA512 integrity. FreeBASIC fbc32/fbc64 and native Windows or Linux
runtime are not available in the testing container. No runtime FPS claim.

Note: the original r52 archive contains several legacy test scripts with
stale assertions. Those were already failing on the unmodified r52 baseline.
The new r53 test and the current SNES tests pass source-level checks.
